The LG Action Sports World Tour invaded Amsterdam
The LG Action Sports World Tour was at the Dance Valley Festival July 14 - 15
On July 14 and 15 the world of action sports was turned inside out as the LG Action Sports World Tour invaded Amsterdam in conjunction with the Dance Valley Festival. Featuring 120 DJs and a live performance by Prodigy,the LG Action Sports Tour at Dance Valley was the largest action sports and music festival in Europe.
With two massive stages and a dozen DJ tents, this fifty acre park lit up like a Roman candle!
The LG Action Sports World Tour is the professional global points series for action sports, in which the world’s top pros in skateboarding, BMX, and inline skating compete for coveted spots at the season-ending LG Action Sports World Championships. The event at Dance Valley advanced the top previously non-qualified athlete in skateboarding, BMX and inline vert. The top two street athletes in each sport also qualified in Amsterdam for the LG Action Sports Championships.
The Amsterdam event will be distributed to 440 million homes in 140 countries on the following networks:
- 2 Hours of national TV coverage on RTL 7
- 12 hours of national TV coverage on MTV/TMF
- 3 hours of pan-European coverage on Eurosport and Eurosport2
- 6 hours of pan-European coverage on the Extreme Sports Channel
- 4.5 hours of USA coverage on OLN
