The LG Action Sports World Tour Comes to Paris

The LG Action Sports World Tour Heads to the Eiffel Tower in Paris September 2 & 3


The LG Action Sports World Tour is going to Paris for its fourth event of 2006! The LG Action Sports World Tour is the biggest global competition series and it’s going to be going down at the historical Trocadero in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Come out and witness 100 of the world’s best skateboarders, BMX riders and inline skaters compete for over 100,000 Euros in cash and prizes and valuable ranking points toward qualifying into the World Championships. The event in Paris is part of the only global competition circuit in action sports and includes tour stops in London, Berlin, Los Angeles, Miami, Amsterdam, Virginia, Barcelona, Seoul and San Diego, culminating in a World Championships event in Dallas.

But there’s more! The LG Action Sports World Tour also includes a host of interactive fan exhibits, including break-dancing competitions, athlete autograph sessions, video games, street artists and other tons of prize giveaways!

Some of the top pros that are expected to attend in this international field of talent include: Simon Tabron (UK), Eito Yasutoko (JAP), Takeshi Yasutoko (JAP), Sandro Dias (BRA), Pierre Luc Gagnon (CAN), Mathias Ringstrom (SWE), Anthony Furlong (USA), John Parker (USA), Jake Brown (AUS), Taig Khris (FRA), Fabiola da Silva (BRA), Nel Martin (ESP), Shane Yost (TAS), Kevin Robinson (USA), Dave Dillewaard (AUS), Steven McCann (AUS) and World Champions, Tobias Wicke and Bruno Loewe, from Germany. The LG Action Sports World Tour is the professional global points series for action sports, in which the world’s top pros in skateboarding, BMX, and inline skating compete for coveted spots at the season-ending LG Action Sports World Championships. The event in Paris is advancing the top previously non-qualified athlete in skateboarding, BMX and inline vert. The top two street athletes in each sport also qualify in Paris for the LG Action Sports Championships.

All of this amazing sports action and live music cast against Paris’ most famous venue is completely free of charge to attend!

The event in Paris will advance the top previously non-qualified vert pro and the top two non-qualified street pros in skateboarding, BMX and inline vert into the LG Action Sports World Championships.

Please note that the Paris Skateboard Street contest is going to be the French Skateboard Championships. Therefore, only 5 International Pro skaters will be invited.
