TICKETS FOR THE LG WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS OF FREESTYLE MOTOCROSS GO ON SALE JULY 20th.

2008's Premier FMX Competition revs up the excitement at the L.A. County Fair September 27th.

LOS ANGELES (July 20, 2008) - On September 27, the world of Freestyle Motocross will focus its attention on the Greater Los Angeles Area, searching for the best, the unsurpassed, the paramount performance of 2008 when the LG World Championships of Freestyle Motocross roars into the L.A. County Fair at Fairplex in Pomona.

It's the sixth consecutive year that the L.A. County Fair has hosted the LG World Championships of Freestyle Motocross (FMX), which last year, in a new head-to-head format, saw four-time LG FMX World Champion and #1 ranked Nate Adams (Phoenix, AZ) dethroned by local resident, Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg (Santee, Calif.). Riding with a broken ankle, Stenberg thrilled fans and judges with daring flip variations and a virtually flawless finals run. Now, the 2008 LG FMX World Championships awaits. Will an injury-free Stenberg successfully defend his title? Will Adams reclaim the top podium spot? Or, will a new star emerge with a breakout performance? This one-night-only event will answer all these questions and leave fans in awe with its full-throttle, high-air excitement.

Box and reserved seating tickets for the 2008 LG World Championships of Freestyle Motocross go on sale Sunday, July 20 at 10 a.m. and are available at the Fairplex Box Office, via all Ticketmaster outlets, Ticketmaster.com, or by calling the following numbers accordingly to charge them by phone - L.A. County 213 480 3232; Riverside 925 685 8497; Orange County 714 740 2000; and Long Beach 805 583 8700. Tickets start at $17.50 for reserved seats.

The 2008 LG World Championships of Freestyle Motocross will air on CBS, Sunday, December 7th following the local NFL broadcast, as well as on two national cable networks to be announced shortly. Please be sure to check your local listings for more details.
